The ideal candidate for this position would have experience developing software within the life science tools industry. In this position, you will primarily be working to develop our client-side instrument control and image processing software. Experience with software and data acquisition from fluorescence microscopes is a plus. You will also help develop the suite of analysis and visualization tools. Because of the early stage of this company, you would have the potential to shape and design important features of this technology and to define areas of development. We are looking for a highly-qualified individual that works well in a team environment and is self-motivated.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop instrument control and image acquisition software
  • Work with early stage customers to customize image acquisition software for different microscopes
  • Develop highly multiplex immunofluorescence data analysis and visualization tools
  • Ongoing refinement of our software solutions
  • Participate and help drive software and data analysis partnerships and collaborations
Qualifications and Skills:
  • B.S. in software engineering, computer science, or bioinformatics
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience developing software for the life science tools industry
  • Highly proficient in Java and Python
  • Knowledge of web-based applications and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in image analysis computation and feature extraction
