If you are a Software Engineer with experience, please read on ($120K-$180K)! We are looking for a senior software engineer who is excited by the challenge of conceiving, architecting, and most importantly, implementing the infrastructure we'll need to enable lightning fast diagnosis pipelines at scale, as well as large scale data analysis on complex genomic data that clinicians will use to decide how to treat infected patients. What You Will Be Doing: -Develop and operate best-in-class data processing infrastructure that is capable of ingesting and transforming data at a large scale coming from many different sources -Build a platform that provides internal teams seamless access to data via well defined interfaces -Design and implement processes to improve data accuracy with heuristics, algorithms, statistics, NLP, etc. -Develop visualizations for internal customers that expose key insights from large complex data What You Need for this Position: -5+ years full lifecycle software engineering experience include: coding, testing, troubleshooting and deployment in Python/Java/Scala -Experience with pipeline development; generating reproducible tools that scale; leveraging open source systems e.g. Airflow, Luigi, Meson, etc. -Command of relational databases and query authoring (SQL) -Experience using Python within an object oriented and/or functional programming project setting -Experience building and operating large scale AWS data infrastructure in production environments a plus -BS+ in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or related field So, if you are a Software Engineer with experience, please apply today!
