Listing Info Software Engineer/Architect A global bioinformatics company in Cambridge is looking to bring on a Data Engineer. This person will be a part of a senior group of engineers and architects who influence and drive the architecture of the company’s data. The immediate project includes directly working with computational biologists, to advance distributed analytics workflows on Hadoop and to use Java and Spark to manage and analyze terabytes of data at a time. You will be responsible to design and deploy data solutions to identify scientific problems. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Software Engineer or Architect and want to advance their career. This person should have experience working with big data technologies (Scala, Hadoop, and Spark). This person will have a developer background and experience in life sciences.
