Job Description:
Full/Part Time Status: Full Time Position Description:Major responsibilities include:
software development; production of new bioinformatics tools;

analyses of human, murine and zebrafish gene expression and DNA mutation databases;

supporting genomics programs in the College of Dentistry and Carver College of Medicine;

teaching and supervising graduate students/residents; and

directly interacting with the Statistics Core at the College of Dentistry.

Education Requirement:
DDS or equivalent and/or PhD or equivalent;

Required Qualifications:
expertise in areas of research that complement existing College of Dentistry programs; and

demonstrated experience in craniofacial developmental genetics and craniofacial developmental biology.

Individuals must also have:
a well-developed research program, as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals including publication in the areas of developmental processes and mechanisms of craniofacial and tooth development; and

a record of significant, ongoing funding, preferably including US federal support.
