Job Description:
Do you love using data visualization to solve problems and tell a story? Talus Analytics is hiring a developer with demonstrated experience in D3.js or other data-driven visualization to build interactive visualizations as a part of research and analysis projects. You will work as part of a collaborative research team to support a broad range of efforts, building web-based visualizations to better understand and communicate data. These visualizations are an integral part of our research and are used both to help solve complex problems and communicate the results of our analysis. Close collaboration and iteration are central to our work, and we look forward to having you as part of our team!

This position is based in Boulder, CO.

Key Skills and Position Requirements:

  • Intellectual curiosity and excitement to apply data visualization to complex research problems in a broad range of fields
  • BA/BS required, MS or PhD also encouraged to apply; position will be commensurate with experience
  • Demonstrated experience using D3.js or related data-driven visualization techniques as a part of UI/UX development
  • Background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, computational biology, chemistry, physics, or economics preferred
  • Enjoy a combination of independent work and close collaboration with a research team
  • US Citizenship
