The position will be affiliated with the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics and the RCSI Centre for Systems Medicine. The RCSI Centre for Systems Medicine is a translational research centre which identifies genes, proteins and metabolites implicated in human disease, and utilizes systems biology and mathematical approaches in order to develop new therapies and prognostic tools for the treatment of cancer, neurological disorders and diabetes. The Department is responsible for education in Physics and Physiology in Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy and is active in postgraduate teaching, including structured PhD programmes.
