The Flint Animal Cancer Center has received 3 years of funding from the Anschutz foundation to explore the molecular landscape of canine cancers. We propose to utilize this funding to genetically sequence four common canine cancers with significant similarity to their human counterparts with the goal of identifying conserved gene mutations that closely align to human cancers.
