The Bioinformatics Core at Purdue supports and catalyzes significant biological research efforts across the university. Perform routine and project specific data analyses including, but not limited to, RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq analyses, metagenomics/metatranscriptomics analysis, SNP prediction and identification and de novo assembly, mapping and annotation of sequence data using various software packages. Use scripting languages to manipulate the data files. Interact with other 'omics' centers, Cyber Center and Statistical Consulting Center to provide relevant services to the campus research community.
