Postdoc in Bioinformatics: Technical University of Denmark (DTU)
We are looking for a talented bioinformatician to join Yeast Metabolic Engineering group as postdoc. The candidate will work on project YEAST-TRANS funded by the European Research Council.
In YEAST-TRANS, we study how small molecules are transported in and out of the cells and apply this knowledge to create better yeast cell factories for production of bio-based chemicals.

Responsibilities and tasks:
Your responsibility will be to develop an open web application for predicting transporters of small molecules.
As bioinformatician in the group, you will be responsible for:
Developing algorithms for predicting transporter function
Creating a web interface for public use
Publishing your results in peer-reviewed journals
Presenting your results at scientific meetings and at least one international conference
