Job Description:
Computer Science Department seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Big Data, Data Mining, or a related area starting Fall, 2017 or thereafter. This individual would become a member of an existing multi-disciplinary research group investigating cancer detection and treatment. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology, Big Data, Data Mining or a closely related field. Experience or other evidence of potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching, research and service. Effective oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience or other evidence of potential for excellence in research in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Big Data, Data Mining or related areas.
