A unique opportunity has arisen for a motivated computational biologist, bioinformatician, or data scientist to join the bioinformatics team and extend Healx’s portfolio of drug repositioning capabilities. Tasks: You will support our patient group and Pharma clients by developing Healx’s in silico drug prediction technologies, through drug matching algorithm and tool development. Skills and experience: You will be an experienced computational scientist, molecular informatician or bioinformatician with a proven track record of developing algorithms for medical needs. You will have a strong mathematical background, and share a passion for translational research with a desire to improve human health. Essential requirements:

- PhD in computational biology or related data sciences
- Previous experience in drug target discovery
- Biological pathways and networks analysis using modern systems biology approaches
- Data modelling, machine learning, and optimization methods
- Graph and network theory
- Expert user of statistical programming languages, R and Python
- Experience working with genomic and proteomic data
- Demonstrable skills in reducing scientific ideas to prototype analytical tools
- Experience using relational databases or Neo4J
- Excellent communicator
