Job Description:
The Bioinformatics Support Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of analysis software required for genomics-based testing in the Diagnostic Laboratories and the Blood Research Institute. In the diagnostic laboratories, this position will support clinical diagnostic testing using next-generation sequencing (NGS) assays. This key position will work with third-party software providers, product development scientists, laboratory directors, and laboratory information services staff to build robust analysis pipelines for the interpretation and clinical reporting of NGS data. This position will also work with the Blood Research Institute faculty to support basic and translational research projects that utilize genomic data.
