Job Description:

**Proficiency in programming languages in R, SAS, and Python required**

This role has been created to directly support our marketing team with reporting and analytics needs. This role interfaces across the organization to answer challenging analytical questions and highlight insights to customers such as revenue generation ideas, opportunities and observations that focus on behaviors that reflect potential loss in advance and assement of different marketing promotion programs. This position will provide creative solutions to help solve complex business problems using advanced analytical techniques while leveraging both internal and external data sources; along with frequent interaction with other cross-functional business units. This position involves working with internal and external data, real-world data and requires a candidate who is comfortable thinking independently about solving business problems.

To be successful the ideal candidate will demonstrate a thirst for knowledge and natural curiosity that facilitates rapid learning of the business model and our data infrastructure at a scale that supports a growing $2b region. Analysts will produce insightful reports and analytic data models and visualizations that depicit market share analysis, customer purchasing patterns, upselling and crosselling opportunities, customer segmentation and promotion program performance.Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have the ability to work with limited supervision and must be comfortable in an environment of changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Tableau Dashboard / Visualization creation
  • Extensive data analysis to help identify revenue opportunities for marketing business partners
  • Oversee program development process, from introduction to launch, including pre- and post-promotion programs
  • Manage data flows, data quality
  • Review and validate data loaded into the data aggregates for accuracy
  • Responsible for prototyping and developing reporting solutions
  • Create adhoc reports
  • Possess working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), data warehouse concepts and tools
Experience / Education:
  • Strong analytical mind and in-depth understanding of key business drivers
  • Agility, adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English required, other languages a plus
  • Experience with command-line scripting, data structures and algorithms and ability to work in a SQL Server environment, processing large amounts of data in a cloud environment
  • Bachelors or masters from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Physics, Operations Research, or related fields, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge in at least one of the following fields: machine learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, data mining, or information retrieval
  • Strong data extraction and processing, using SQL Server
