Job Description:
We are looking for a Postdoc to strengthen our research efforts in bioinformatics and computational systems biology. The position can be assigned to any of the research projects ongoing in our group, or can be used to establish a novel topic in the group. The successful candidate will establish his or her own research program within the area of interest of the group. We expect the applicant to be willing to collaborate closely with experimental partners in house, and we offer an interdisciplinary environment in an exciting research area.

The position is available initially for 2 years, with the possibility of extension. Payment is according to the German E13 scale (full position). Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a background in systems biology, (bio)informatics, mathematics, physics, or related disciplines, ideally already with experience in biological applications. Good background knowledge in one or more of OMICS data analysis, machine learning, mathematical modeling, dynamical systems and / or biostatistics is advantageous.
