Job Description:
The Statistical Genomics and Data Analysis Core (SGDA), NIMH, NIH is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher with a background in bioinformatics and computational neuroscience to join our group. The applicant is expected to be able to work independently, involve in multiple research projects, interact well with the fellow researcher, and communicate well in English. Requirements: * A strong background in bioinformatics * Experience in maintaining a cluster with a high capacity * Proficient in the following programming languages: Python, R, Perl, C++, JAVA, UNIX/LINUX * Ability to design and maintain analysis pipelines

SGDA supports research to transform the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through the application of the most effective statistical methods. SGDA provides statistical service for intramural and extramural scientists through consultation, collaboration and on-site training. SGDA also conducts independent research to develop new methodologies for application in neuroscience.
