Job Description:

Web developers with good degree in computer science or a related area and extensive professional experience with the Django-Python web framework are invited to apply for the position of Web Developer for research on internet-delivered psychological treatments.

The successful applicant will work closely with an internationally renowned team of researchers who have developed highly effective face-to-face psychological treatments for a range of mental health problems. The postholder will lead the development of a platform for the online delivery of some of these treatments, maintain existing programmes, and play a major role in research projects evaluating the internet-delivered treatments and the processes that lead to symptom improvement.

The successful applicant will be part of a vibrant and growing informatics/IT community at the Departments of Experimental Psychology and Psychiatry. We develop and support infrastructure and conduct research across a range of domains including clinical trials, virtual reality, clinical informatics, bioinformatics, digital health/connected devices, imaging.

The successful applicant will also have experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL. Knowledge about working with Amazon Web Services hosted databases, the PHP-platform and the specific requirements surrounding confidential health data and information governance is desirable.
