Job Description:
The Image Data Analysis / Bioinformatics Programmer position is to supports current operations and continues to advance technologies. The candidate works with the director to develop image acquisition, automation, and analysis software, as well as assist in the maintenance, repair, and operation of microscopes. This position requires direct interaction with researchers including training, assisting, and troubleshooting for both software and hardware as needed.

The Image Data Analysis / Bioinformatics Programmer will work under the direct supervision of the director and will also receive mentoring and direct guidance from the principal investigator in order to advance their career in academic research. Additional responsibilities include bookkeeping, ordering, and maintaining stocks of necessary supplies.
